You can clearly tell from the photos that the meat were in abundance.if I'm going to make meat pies at home,they have to be tasty and full of meat.

How to make meat pies

Meat pie or meat pies whatever you prefer to call them.
Making meat pies doesn't have to be complicated.
This is a 6 ingredients recipe.
Here are the ingredients I used for the Meat Pies
Meat - You can use beef,pork or a mixture of both.i used beef because I don't eat pork.
Potatoes - I used Irish Potatoes
Onion - Honestly there is no meat pie without onion
Green pepper - Well
Flour - I used all purpose flour
butter or margarine

  • 2 Cups all purpose flour
  • 4 Irish Potatoes
  • 250 grams of salted butter or margarine
  • Meat
  • Onion
  • Green pepper
1. Cut meat into small pieces.Boil your meat,when the meat is ready ,heat a pan,add cooking oil and fry the meat.Season the meat with tomatoes and onions.Make sure you have gravy/sauce in the meat do your pies don't have to be dry. Remove from the stove when ready. 
2. Peel and cut potatoes.Add in a pot, add cold water and salt then cook on high heat. When your potatoes are ready,mix them to your meat.add onion and green pepper and cook your meat for 5 minutes til the sauce and the potatoes mix. 
3. Put flour in a bowl,cut your butter into small pieces and add to the flour.mix with your finger tips until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.slowly add iced water to your flour until your flour mixture holds together (do not knead).cover the mixture with a plastic wrap then put in the fridge for one and a half hour. 
4. Remove from the fridge and knead til smooth. 
5. On a flat surface knead your flour, using a spoon begin to add your filling,fold the pie and use a folk to seal the pie. 
6. Continue the process with the remaining dough. 
7. Bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.
