I was excited to share this guava Smoothie recipe with you.

I wanted to take a break from delicious Mango smoothies and try something different.

We have a guava tree in our backyard and the guavas have being falling a lot lately so I thought of making a guava smoothie as a way of preserving the guavas, the smoothie came out okay.

Guava smoothie made from ripe guava fruits is a super refreshing smoothie.

Delicious gorgeous pink color guavas are all you need to make this smoothie delicious 😊 I'm just kidding ripe green guavas or is it white guavas 🤔 whatever color they are, they are also tasty and they produce mouthwatering smoothie.

If you are a regular reader, then you know that I'm a big fan of smoothies, whatever smoothie babe.

They are quick to make but I'll need to hold on a bit because they only taste great when refrigerated. ❤️

Guava smoothie is one of my favorite followed by Mango smoothie.

This guava smoothie is fruity and sweet.I call it fruity because no yogurt nor milk was added.

Homemade is a way to go, whether it's homemade smoothie, homemade juice or homemade dessert.

This homemade guava Smoothie brightens my day, I only added a few teaspoons of sugar.

Go for soft and riped guavas, under-ripe will not give you as much flavor.

Guava go well with strawberries, so if you have strawberries it will be an added advantage.

Another great thing about homemade smoothie is that you can decide whether to sieve the seeds or to live them.

This guava smoothie is fruity and sweet.I call it fruity because no yogurt nor milk was added.

Ingredients
  • 8 ripe guavas
  • Lemon
  • Sugar
Instructions
1. Wash then peel very ripe guavas. Chop the guavas into cubes then put in a blender, add one cup of water then blend. 
2. Sieve the guavas in order to remove the seeds. Put in a jar or cup then squeeze in a lemon for flavor and refrigerate. 
3. You can add sugar or honey or you can drink the smoothie just the way it is.
