How to make the BEST chapati recipe|Home made chapati

This is my second chapati recipe.
The first one was chicken chapati.and I believe more and more chapati recipe are still coming.

Because cooking is an experimental thing,we always try out new recipes to spice things up.
I hope you'll enjoy this recipe.
Home made chapati recipe


INGREDIENTS

• 3 Cups of flour
• 1 Teaspoon of salt
• 1 Teaspoon of black pepper
• 1 Teaspoon of garlic powder
• 5 Tablespoons of cooking oil

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. In a large mixing bowl,put 3 cups of flour,salt,black pepper, garlic powder,5 Tablespoons of cooking oil and mix til the mixer becomes fluffy,then add warm water bit by bit.

2. Start Kneading,the dough should not be sticky not very hard.
3.When done let the dough rest for 30 minutes then make small balls and roll out.

4.Apply some oil on both sides of the chapati then put on a heated pan.

I served with chicken and potato salads.

HOW TO MAKE POTATO SALADS

INGREDIENTS
• 3 Potatoes
• Mayonnaise
• Salt

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. Wash potatoes,peel them,when you peel make sure you put in water to avoid the potatoes from turning brown.
2. After peeling,wash them and cut them into your desired size.
3.Put your potatoes in a pot,add salt and heat the pot.
4.When the potatoes are tender,remove from the stove and drain the water using a colander.
5.Put on a plate and add mayonnaise.

HOW TO COOK CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

• Whole Chicken
• Salt
• Cooking Oil
• Tomatoes
• Onion
• Portuguese Chicken
• Brown Onion
• Spice of your choice.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1.Wash your chicken,put in a pot,add salt then put on the stove.
2.When your chicken is ready,heat a pan,add cooking oil then deep fry your chicken.
3.Put your chicken in a bowl when it's deep fried.
4.Using the same oil you used to deep fry your chicken,add your tomatoes,onion, brown onion, Portuguese chicken and salt and make a stew.
5.Mix your stew and chicken.

SERVING YOUR CHAPATI

1.On the same plate,add your chapati, Potato salads and Chicken and you are done.

  11. Whilst I do cook a lot of Indian dishes at home, I never tried making my own chapati. I even have a chapati pan which I bought from India. Maybe it's time to put it to good use.
