Boerewors and wedges/sausage and Potatoes

•6 Medium Potatoes
  • Wash, Peel and cut Potatoes into wedges.
  • Soak Potatoes in ice cold water for 15 Minutes
  • Boil the Potatoes
  • Add a teaspoon of tumeric and salt
  • Drain water
  • Place the wedges on a baking pan
  • Preheat oven at 170° 
  • Give both the wedges and sausage a light coating of oil
  • Insert a kebab stick/skewer into the boerewors to maintain moisture and flavor
  • Grill for 20 minutes
  • Grill the sausage for 10 minutes on each side
  • Squeeze a lemon over both the sausage and wedges a minute before taking them out of the oven.
  • Sprinkle some Parsley over the wedges and serve warm.
  • Calories per serving: 450 cal
